On the 23rd September 2023, 8 lucky team members (along with Maggie the German Shorthaired Pointer), took part in this years Scarfell Pike hiking challenge.
Scafell Pike is in the heart of the Lake district and is England’s tallest mountain.
We rented a house for two nights in the heart of the lake district not too far from Scafell Pike, with obviously a pub or two only a short walk away.
Fortunately there was a break in the weather on the day, and we were on the move by 07:00 on the Saturday morning. After a gruelling few hours we reached the summit and were back down the mountain by mid afternoon.
